Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Ampersand Researchers (“we”, “us”, “our”) and our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We provide academic editing, research support, statistical consulting, and related services to students and researchers.
Use of services
You may use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your institution’s academic integrity policies. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with applicable rules and that any work we help you with is used appropriately (e.g., as reference, editing, or statistical support as agreed).
You must provide accurate information when registering and placing orders. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
Orders, payment & delivery
When you place an order, you agree to pay the quoted price for the requested services. Payment is due as described at checkout. We will deliver work according to the agreed timeline and scope. Refunds and revisions are handled as set out in our order and payment policies at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that we believe violate these terms or are otherwise inappropriate.
Intellectual property & confidentiality
You retain ownership of the materials you submit. We use them only to perform the services you request. Deliverables we create for you (e.g., edited or analyzed work) are provided for your use subject to these terms. We do not claim ownership of your original content. Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information shared in the course of the engagement where appropriate.
Limitation of liability
Our services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or our services. Our total liability in connection with any order or use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order or service.
Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
